Tombstone Tuesday: A Moore Tombstone

For this week's Tombstone Tuesday, I am posting another poor quality photograph from the Placeway/Whitcomb Cemetery. I cannot remember the first name of this person, but the last name appears to be Moore. Of course, I'll have to double check the stone the next time I visit the cemetery. (I still have not had a chance, yet, to go back and take better pictures. Hopefully, I will be able to do so soon.)

I forgot to mention earlier this month that the 21st Meet A Rabbit Column had been posted, and I am terribly sorry for forgetting to mention it. Amy Crooks was the author of that column, and you can read it here. Enjoy!

Tombstone Tuesday: A Hodgeman Marker

For this Tombstone Tuesday, I am posting a picture of the tombstone of Clarissa Hodgeman. I do not know anything about her other than what is on the tombstone, and I only chose this picture because this photograph was the only photograph that came out clearly when I originally took photos of the Placeway/Whitcomb Cemetery. (Of course, I haven't been back to the cemetery yet, but I do plan to do so eventually.) If I get a chance to do research on the Placeway/Whitcomb cemetery, I'll try to uncover more information on this Clarissa Hodgeman.

Tombstone Tuesday: And Another View of Placeway/Whitcomb Cemetery, Again

For this Tombstone Tuesday, I have chosen to post another part of Placeway/Whitcomb Cemetery because I have not yet gone back to the cemetery to retake the pictures I took the last time. This photo is of the portion of the cemetery that is closest to the road and it would be put to the left of the second photograph that I posted. The first photograph is here. Of course, I plan to retake the pictures I took sometime in the future, but hopefully, I'll be able to do that within the coming weeks. Enjoy!

Tombstone Tuesday: Another View of Placeway/Whitcomb Cemetery

Since last Tuesday, I haven't been able to return to Placeway/Whitcomb Cemetery due to the fact that the weather hasn't been the best. So, I am posting another one of those photographs that I originally took. This photograph would be placed next to the other photograph on the left. If I do not get another chance to take photographs before next Tuesday, I'll post the other portion of the cemetery. (I had to divide photographing the cemetery into three parts as I was unable to take one whole picture like I wanted to do.)

Belated Tombstone Tuesday: A View of Placeway/Whitcomb Cemetery

I'm late in posting for this week's Tombstone Tuesday primarily because I visited the Placeway/Whitcomb Cemetery yesterday and took some pictures. The picture above is a partial view of the cemetery. I wasn't able to take a picture that outlined the size of the cemetery, so I had to take pictures of it in pieces. Unfortunately, the quality of the picture is not very good because I have a cheap digital camera. I hope to take some pictures with a different camera next time, so the pictures should be better the next time I post them.
